Weekend Epicure was started in Feburary of 2007. With over 17,000 restaurants in New York City, it's not difficult to find a good meal. However, for both serious foodies and average New Yorkers looking to indulge in a sublime culinary experience, Weekend Epicure is dedicated to not only helping you find the right restaurant, but securing a reservation for this very weekend. Many of the city's top restaurants are fully booked weeks in advance, but like the Fish says, we're here to help "forgive forgetfulness" (and yes, make money).
Making dinner plans and reservations four (or often more) weeks in advance is in many cases neither practical nor desired, and it is this niche that we hope to cater to and the need that we hope to satisfy.
As always, many of the restaurants listed on this site do set aside a certain number of tables for walk-in, and simply showing up early enough (before 6PM usually) may be enough to get you a seat.
Nota Bene:
- Weekend Epicure is not in any way associated with the restaurants listed.
- Reservations are only offered for dinner seating on Friday and Saturday night each week.
- Reservations for the week go on sale at 9AM on the Wednesday immediately prior to the reservation date.
- Reservations are only offered for parties of two.
- Only one reservation is offered per restaurant, per night.
Like the first-class restaurants we list, Weekend Epicure is dedicated to providing the highest possible level of service to its customers.
